The Ginkgo Tree is one of the oldest trees on the planet. It is completely resistant to insects and disease. I guess that is why it has survived for so long. Don’t Be Afraid To Experiment
The year 2012 was a year of cooking experiments. I decided I was going to cook every food I found intimidating. I can make rosemary bread in my sleep now. The sausage making is coming along. Seasoning
Seasoning! Well, at least that is what MawMaw used to call it. It’s actually just a cured piece of meat. This particular piece came from Smileys at Nashville Farmer’s Market. They display their custom smoked slabs of yum over on the side wall where their scales are. Next time you go shopping for greens, ask them to help you pick out the most perfect piece.
