The Ginkgo Tree is one of the oldest trees on the planet. It is completely resistant to insects and disease. I guess that is why it has survived for so long. Boy does it put on a spectacular autumn show, being one of the last to lose its leaves. One frosty November morning, we woke up to my little tree shedding its leaves. It happened in a link of an eye! By 10am, it was wearing a golden skirt of those leaves. Hence, my mid-morning shadow bomb. Whether it is networking, social media or even traditional advertising, are you engaging? Not until you are truly in the moment, can you engage in an authentic manner. Folks don’t want to be sold. They want to know who you are. They want to relate and for you to relate to them. If I had not been watching my little Ginkgo that morning, I would have missed its show. Hush up and listen to those around you. They will tell you what they need without even being asked. Then, you be the first to offer a solution!
